Abstract

Empowerment of women in social, political, economical and legal aspects is necessary in order to achieve self sustainable society. Empowerment of women can be achieved through political power, education and employment.There are various determinants of women empowerment.The present paper is an attempt to evaluate some of these determinants so as to have an idea about upto what extent women are empowered in our country
