COMPARATIVE STUDY OF LIQUIDITY OF SELECTED CIVIL-AVIATION COMPANIES WORKING IN INDIA

Abstract

The main objective of this research study is to analyse the liquidity of selected civil-aviation companies working in India. To fulfil this objective researcher has used secondary data of last five years from 2017 to 2021. Secondary data is been collected from financial report and data base software PROWESS-IQ. Researcher has selected four companies as a sample- Indigo, Spicejet, Jet Airways and Go Air. Secondary data is been analysed by accounting tool – Ratio analysis and statistical tools – Descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and One-way ANOVA. Ratios such as, Net Working Capital, Current ratio and Quick ratio are used for the purpose of study. Indigo shows good growth whereas Air India is showing poor liquidity. Net Working Capital, Current Ratio and Quick Ratio shows a significant difference among selected civil-aviation companies working in India.
