SELECTED ANTHROPOMETRIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF INDIAN NATIONAL LEVEL VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to make a profile on SELECTED ANTHROPOMETRIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF INDIAN NATIONAL LEVEL VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS. For the purpose of this study 192 volleyball players were selected from the national volleyball tournament. The ages of the subjects were between 20 to 25 years. The criteria measure for this study was age, height, weight, abdominal muscular endurance (AME), speed, explosive strength (ES), flexibility and the psychological variables are anxiety and achievement motivation(AM). For analyzing and interpretation of data mean, SD, skewness and kurtosis was calculated. All the result was standard according to standard norms.
