The purpose of this study was to know the parental attitude towards women sports and social aspect in net ball. Fifty parents of girls who have been studying in Delhi university colleges have been selected as the subjects. Percentage test was used to analyze the data. Result of the study revealed majority of the parents had a view that netball has a good social recognition and bright future as sports as well. It was found from the gathered data that all parents accept that Netball provides situation to develop their good character, 90% parents felt that participation in Netball is very much helpful for their daughter to relive and relax physical tension and also develop their positive attitude that will make her a better citizen.100% parents feel that participation in Netball helps their daughter in achieving “sound mind in a sound body”.
