Abstract

One of the major shortcomings of India's social structure is that the Dalit class has been placed at the bottom of the Hindu social system. Dalit has no place in society. On the same issue, Ghazanfar wrote the famous novel "Doya Bani" in 2000. Through this novel, Ghazfner has for the first time shed light on a subject on which not much has been written in the world of Urdu novel writing. The subject of this novel tells the story of untouchability, social, political and economic exploitation of Dalits as well as oppression of them. Its main theme is the social gulf based on the ancient Indian Brahmin system.
